Air Berlin will connect Gdańsk with Berlin

Second in terms of size German airlines Air Berlin are extending their offer of flights from and to Poland and launch from the summer season the first connection from Gdańsk to Berlin.

Sociologists asked residents of the cities whether they like living in their cities. 83 percent of the respondents claim that they do. Basing on the research a rating has been made of cities where living is the best. Gdynia won, where almost every resident is satisfied that he lives there.

More than 12 million zloty (2.8 million euro) will be spent on the renovation of ruins of XIIth century castle – Krzyżtopór in Ujazd (Świętokrzyskie voivodship).

Record-breaking freezing weather in Poland: -31 degrees of frost

Podlaskie voivodship seems to be this year capital of Polish winter. Last Sunday was very cold in Białystok where weather forecaster registered 25 degree below zero, while in some places it was even -31. According to the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) it was the lowest temperature in Poland this year.
