He was kicked to death by his 16-year-old partner

Doctors did not manage to save the 55-year-old man who had been brutally assaulted a week and a half ago by his 16-year-old partner. The man died in the hospital in Zabrze. The tragedy took place at a party. The teenage girl was kicking the man and jumping over him.

Warsaw calls off the flood alarm

The inhabitants of Warsaw may now have a sigh of relief. It proved to be possible to save the city from a mighty flood, even though the floodbanks on Vistula were on the verge of breaking and despite the fact that the situation appeared quite seriously at times.

Russia will back us up in fighting against the flood

The Russian President Dmitry Medvedev ordered Sergey Shoygu, the Minister of Emergency Situations, to provide Poland with all the necessary help it may need concerning the flood. Shoygu informed that the planes with humanitarian aid, pumps and generators are ready for a take- off.

Poland now a gas power – new deposits!

This not scientists’ wishful thinking or a mirage created by big corporations. Poland has slate gas! The biggest Polish petroleum company (Orlen) has discovered rocks, from which the gas can be extracted. According to forecasts, there is enough gas to make Poland independent from Russian fuel, or even to enable export.
