Warmia and Mazury will help Ukraine

Respirators, medical tests which detect influenza and special face masks will be sent to Ukraine (Rivne Oblast) by the authorities of warmińsko-mazueskie voivodship. Also Elbląg decided to help Ukrainian side so there will be sent 15 thousand face masks to Ternopol. The transport will be sent next week.

Ukrainian president asked Poland for help

Ukrainian president – Victor Yushchenko asked Poland and many other nations for help because of A/H1N1 virus which killed 55 people. The epidemic of dangerous type of flu attacked Western part of Ukraine.

The smallest Polish child is dead

Russians help little Polish girl

Well known Russian daily – “Sobiesiednik”, “Give a new life” Foundation and Russian National Post decided to help 7 years old Polish girl – Krystyna Stec ,who suffers from leukaemia. The girl and her mother live in Russia.

Poles support euthanasia

According to 48% of Polish society, the doctors should fulfil the will of suffering, incurable patients who want to end their life.
