Exhibition of Pole in Tate Modern in London

Mirosław Bełka will open his own exhibition in Tate Modern in London. Polish sculptor will be presenting his works within next six months in this place which is believed to be one of the most important museums in the world.

New archaeological park in Tum near Łęczyca

Archaeologists from Łódź have just finished their works in an old castle owned to the Piast Dynasty. What is more there will be built an archaeological park as a part of the project titled “Tum near Łęczyca. The pearl of Roman route”.

The festival takes place, as usual, in a mountain hostel in Miziowa. The main guests of fifth edition of the event will be Robert Rozmus who has climbed on whole eight-thousanders, Krzysztof Gardyna – well known Himalayan mountaineer, Jarosław Botor who was a member of many interesting expeditions.

First Museum of Witold Gombrowicz

Wsola near Radom is going to open first Witold Gombrowicz museum this Saturday. It is entirely dedicated to this writer (however not showing his darker side of drug user and heavy drinker) and it is placed in an old mansion that belonged to his family. It is also the place where he wrote "Ferdydurke".
