Drunk drivers will have to work as their penalty

Ministry of Justice wants to punish drunk drivers more severe. Besides penalties that are in power merry drivers will have their passports confiscated for some time (which will still allow them to make journeys to European Union) or do some public service duties. Vice minister of Justice Krzysztof Kwiatkowski said that they will work as street cleaners or sorting rubbish.

From Friday till Monday there were 294 road accidents. Twenty five people are dead and more than four hundred had been wounded. Police force has stooped 1444 drunk drivers.

First time in couple of years the number of stolen cars has risen in Warsaw. Thieves steal them to get expensive spare parts. It is easiest to be robbed if you have Toyota or Volkswagen – reports “Life of Warsaw”.
