Since more than one year it is possible to eat this Italian delicacy in Polish tourist cars called “Wars”. According to Gfk Polonia (opinion research centre) piada is getting very popular among Poles whose culinary preferences are higher than it was in the pasta.

104 companies from Great Poland (Wielkopolska) which bake crescent shaped buns of Saint Marcin (rogale świętomarcińskie) have been given special certificates proving permission for using this regional symbol of the European Union.
