Japandroids in Poland

Canadian super group – Japandroids has decided to visit Poland in order to give three concerts in our country. The group is believed to be one of most perspective band, playing alternative music.

This year ‘last minute’ should not be connected with foreign holidays. Citizens of Polish capital do not want to pay expensive entrance fees for ceremonial parties during the last day of 2009. Thanks to their decisions there are many free places in almost all clubs and pubs – writes “Życie Warszawy”. As it turned out, most o owners decided to reduce the prices or even invite some people for free.

OPPA Festival in Warsaw

OPPA Festival means Acting Interpretation of Song Contest which will take place on the 21th – 27th November 2009. First OPPA Festival took place in 1978 in Hybrydy club. 31 years old history of the festival coincided with tumultuous history of Polish politics what caused that sometimes communist government forbad it.

Cult club Warsaw has been burnt down

One of the most famous Warsaw's clubs called " Philosophical dinner room" (Jadłodalnia Filozoficzna) has been burn down to the ground. Causes of fire are still unknown.
