The biggest power plant in the world will be built in Poland. A company named GdF Suez plans to build a block of 190 MW of power, where the energy will be produced out of biomass.

A Western City in Żory

By spring 2011, a Western City will be created in Żory, a Silensian town with a population of 60.000. The site, inspired by the 19th century American Wild West, will include a hotel, as well as restaurants and entertainment and recreation facilities. The costs of this enterprise, PLN 21.000.000, will be partially covered with EU funds.
