He is 23, studies at University of Szczecin and is second most beautiful man in entire zachodnio pomorskie voivodship. Today he may say that he is also one of most beautiful people in the world. Sebastian Strzępka took fifth place in international beauty contest in Taiwan.

A Pole nominated for Golden Globe

The list of people nominated for Golden Globe Award, has already been announced. The bigger number of nominations has “Up in the Air”. There is also one Polish name on the list. It is Abel Korzeniowski who made music to “A Single Man”.

European Film Award for Andrzej Wajda

Andrzej Wajda was awarded yet again. After receiving an Oscar couple of year ago, he collected yet another reward - The Award of European Film Academy. This time the jury has appreciated his most recent film called "Tatarak". Also Polish director Marcel Łoziński was awarded for his short film.

Polish students took part in Nobel Prize gala

Two Polish students, laureates of an international scientific contest were invited to Stockholm, in order to take part in Nobel Prize gala. What is more, both youngsters will meet with Swedish king during a ceremonial banquet for Nobel prize-winners.

The title of journalist of the year, that is given by "Press" magazine, went to Tomasz Lis, who won with Ewa Erwart, Piotr Zaręba, Wojciech Jagielski and Anita Werner.
