Black boxes from the crashed plane retrieved
Specialists provisionally retrieved information from the black boxes of the presidential airplane, which had crashed near Smolensk. It proved the Russian assumption right that the plane was in working order. A person employed at the Smolensk airport said that the Polish pilots were perfectly trained.

Crowds mourn after Polish president
On Sunday, a few minutes past 3 p.m., the airplane with the body of Lech Kaczyński landed in Warsaw. The coffin, covered with a Polish national flag, was put out the plane by soldiers of the Honour Guard of the Polish Armed Forces. The national anthem was played.

A plane carrying Poland’s president Lech Kaczynski and others travelling to Smolensk for a Katyn commemoration ceremony has crashed. Eighty eight people were reported on board the ageing Tupolev Tu-154 presidential plane.
