„Polish death camps” in Spanish newspapers

Polish embassy in Madrid is protesting because of mistake made in Spanish newspapers. Spanish media informed about a criminal – John Demianiuk and described him as a guard in “Polish death camp in Sobibór”.

Tusk allows US troops in Poland

Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk has accepted a deal about statute of US troops in Poland. The most important part of it is a regulation that allows to prosecute by Polish law US soldiers that commit crimes off duty. As a return they are going to become... tax exemptions.

The conference of former Prime Minister took place during last Lower Silesian Politics and Economic Forum in Krzyżowa. 20 years ago Tadeusz Mazowiecki and German chancellor – Helmut Kohl met each other in order to overcome Polish-German antagonisms. Both countries decided to celebrate 20th anniversary of this special moment in Krzyżowa where everything begun.

Lower Silesian Politics and Economic Forum was a great chance to speak with important people who were invited to Krzyżowa. Marek Łapiński who is the Marshall of Lower Silesian voivodship, Christian Wulff – the Minister-President of Lower Saxony and Stanislav Tillich – the Minister-President of Free State of Saxony took part in a press conference. The main goal of the conference was international cooperation between Lower Silesia, Lower Saxony and Saxony.
