On the Caribbean island, touched by the cataclysm there has sailed and still sails an aid from almost all around the world. Poland is also helping but with a delay. Sixty three firemen from Poland have taken 12 dogs and 4 tons of equipment with them for the search for people.

Legendary Polish pilot - General Tadeusz Góra is dead
General Tadeusz Góra died two weeks before his 92nd birthday in Świdnica. The pilot was awarded with the medal of Lilienthal in 1939. He was first ever pilot awarded with this prestigious medal.

Poles kidnapped by pirates
British ship with tons of chemicals which was sailing from Spain to Thailand was kidnapped by pirates. Fortunately the captain was able to send S.O.S alarm to other units from the Aden Bay. The crew of the ship was taken as prisoners while the ship sailed towards Somalia and…disappeared.

Polish drivers were not too carefully during the Christmas time and caused 500 car accidents. 36 people are death while more than 300 are seriously injured.
