Following persons are coming to the First Couple’s funeral
Barack Obama, Nicolas Sarkozy, Angela Merkel – the list of political leaders who are coming to funeral ceremonies in honour of the Smolesk crash’s victims grows longer. In the crash died President of Poland Lech Kaczyński and his wife Maria,, and many others. The first couple will be buried in the Wawel Hill complex.

It turns out that no regulations impose an obligatory insurance policy on the flights of the state's most prominent personages. The Bulgarian president refuses flying with Tupolev
After the crash in Smoleńsk, Bulgaria has cancelled all Tu-154 flights. It is with this machine that the Polish delegation with Lech Kaczyński where flying. Georgij Pyrvanov, the President of Bulgaria, also employed this model for his travels. It has been decided, however, that the machines will no longer be used.

Black boxes have revealed the cause of the crash
Polish specialists working on the investigation in Moscow confirm: the Tu-154M pilots ignored recommendations from the control tower at the “Siewiernyj” airport in Smolensk. In their opinion the cause of the crash were adverse weather conditions which led to a pilot’s mistake.
