Sepultura in Poland

The legendary Sepultura will perform on the Seven Festival in Węgorzewo. The band has so far released 12 studio albums, the most appreciated of which were Chaos A.D., Roots and Arise from the 1990s. Their 2006 album Dante XXI, inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy, gained the Golden Record status.

Muse in Cracow

The star of the 5th edition of the summer Coke Live Music Festival in Cracow will be the British rock band Muse. The event will take place on 20th and 21st August on the grounds of the former airport in Cracow Czyżyny. The festival will host over thirty Polish and foreign artists.

Frederic Chopin will prevail on the British Islands

Nearly 2 million viewers participated in 2009 in “Polska! Year” – the Polish Year in Great Britain. The season was opened in April last year and will last till this year’s August. The upcoming period will be dominated by Frederic Chopin’s music.

Multimedia environment centre in the Bear Cave

Lion and hyena models, a collection of bear skulls and multimedia presentations are only a couple of attractions offered by the Environment Education Centre, which was established in the Bear Cave in Kletna near Stronie Śląskie.

Camerimage Festival is leaving Łódź

The head of the Camerimage Festival made an announcement that the event will no longer be organized in Łódź. The city’s contract for organizing the festival had been nullified by Marek Żydowicz even earlier, but, according to the magistrates, his decision was not legally binding then.
