Polish accordionist will take part in Eurovision contest 17 years old accordionist – Bartosz Głowacki has won “The Best Young Musician of 2009” and he will go to Vienna to take part in the European semi-final of this prestigious contest.

Cameroon born multi-instrumentalist will perform in Wrocław. When he was five, he started singing in a local church. His first instruments were: flute and drums. After several years of practicing he started being master in guitar playing. When he was 11, he moved to Douala and started earning money playing electric guitar. In 1980 young Richard Bona was heard by an owner of a local jazz club who offered him forming a band.

46th Jazz at Odra River Festival

On the 28th February 2010 a new project of Pat Methenry is going to start a 46th Festival Jazz at Odra River in Wrocław. This year such artists as Vincent Herring (one of the best saxophonists in the world), Ron Carter (known for his cooperation with Miles Davis and Wayne Shorter) are going to perform as well.
