Polish airport in Berlin

The construction of the mega airport is coming to an end; passengers from Poznań, Wrocław and Warsaw are going to be delivered there. It is going to be the biggest “Polish” airport!

"Polish Everest Expedition 2010"

The aim of the expedition is to remind and honour the 30th anniversary of the important event on a world scale of Himalaya mountaineering – the first winter climb on Mount Everest and reaching Qomolangma by two Poles – Krzystof Wielicki and Leszek Cichy.

Shisha Pangma not conquered

Kinga Baranowska did not manage to conquer her seventh eight thousand meter peak Shisha Pangma (8027 meters high). The weather was very bad lately due to intensive snowfall.

Hotel owners buy Poles for 5 dollars

White socks with sandals and excessive drinking are no longer associated with Polish tourists. Hotel owners prefere Poles over other Western European countries' citizens. For this reason they pay up to 5 dollars for every Pole they get from travel companies.

Global day of tourism

On 27th September (Sunday) a global day of tourism will be celebrated. This year's 30th edition has a motto: "Celebrating diversity".
