Russians do not want to apologize for Katyn

Almost half of Russians think that their Prime Minister Vladimir Putin should not apologize to Poles for Katyn – these are results of a survey made the day before the Katyn anniversary by the Levada Centre for “Fakty” TVN. What is more, only 19 per cent of the questioned have an idea who murdered Polish officers. Every fifth respondent (18%) would like Putin to apologize for the execution in Katyn and 36.1% of them have no opinion.

Body of a Polish driver found in Italy

The corpse of a Polish lorry driver has been found at night in the suburbs of Piacenza, northern Italy – reports ANSA agency. The body of the 55 year old man with a head injury lay next to the lorry. He was naked.
