Polish weightlifter becomes World Champion

Great success of a Pole. Marcin Dołęga representing his club Ekopak Jatne Otwock has won World Champion title in 105 kg category during the competition is South Korean city of Goyang. His 421 kilos in combined event is one of the best in the world this year.

Polish women team wins 45:8

Polish Handball Association signed a cooperation deal with the US Federation last year. As a part of this contract US team came to Chorzów to play an official game. Polish girls however were not very hospitable to their guests as they won the game 45:8.
