A meeting with the culture of China - 27th of February 2010

A cycle of meetings "Cultures of the world" organised since the academic year 2008/2009 by the ALMAMER Centre of Promoting Careers and the International Tourism Faculty of the Economic High School, is an event enjoying an increasing interest. We've already visited Japan, Italy, Mexico and Russia.

Wife of minister Radosław Sikorski crushes Europe

A strong voice of Anne Applebaum, wife of minister Radosław Sikorski. Commentator of the "Washington Post" journal picks politicians and countries of the EU to pieces. However she praises the president of the USA Barack Obama, who openly ignored the May's EU summit.

Jerzy Turek died

He was one of the most popular Polish actors. Everybody remembered him mainly as a singing to a wardrobe trainer Wacław Jarząbek from "Miś" by Stanisław Bareja. For many years he has been impersonating the character of the postman in "Złotopolscy". In Warsaw died a prominent actor Jerzy Turek. He was 76.

India in Warsaw

It is a one of a kind centre in Central Europe. Centre for Contemporary India Research and Studies will start its activity in Warsaw. The creation of the Centre was able thanks to the UE grant (more than 270 thousand Euro), that on the beginning of October 2009 the Institute of International Relations of the University of Warsaw received.

A Polish girl will promote Europe
