Because of low sales an airline Wizz Air liquidates flights on two routes from England to Poland - confirmed Natasa Kazmer, Wizz Air's director of communications and public affairs.
Wizz Air will no longer fly to Katowice from two regional airports: Bournemouth and Coventry. Wizz Air will continue to fly to Katowice from Belfast (Northern Ireland), Cork (South Ireland) and from Doncaster, Sheffield, Glasgow Prestwick, Liverpool and London airports - Luton and Stansted.
"The reason for the closure of routes to Bournemouth and Coventry is the change of trends on market resulting from high fuel prices and the Poles return from Great Britain – said Kazmer to Polish Press Agency.
