Polish WWII-time collection bought

Museum of Varsovian Insurrection won an auction of the insurrectional field post collection from 1944. The auction took place in Duesseldorf.
The collection consists of 123 insurrectional mementos: letters, envelopes, stamps from insurrectional field post.
The collection was bought for the initial price - 190 000EUR.
In view of the auction The Minister of Culture and National Heritage Bogdan Zdrojewski authorized the Director of The Museum of Varsovian Insurrection to buy this collection.
Collection can be seen in The Museum of Varsovian Insurrection next month.
