Two Hungarian, two German, two Polish and one Russian book got to the final seven of the titles nominated for the Angelus Central European Literature Award. The award will be presented Dec. 6 in Wroclaw.
Chairwoman of the jury Natalia Gorbanevskaya said at a press conference in Wroclaw, that she consider all these titles as very good books. "We appointed seven finalists without an additional voting, because these seven books received a majority of votes" – added juror.
Works of living authors, coming from 21 countries of Central Europe can be reported to the Angelus Central European Literature Award. Every publisher can submit one foreign and one Polish author's book. This year 51 books were reported to the contest.
