Krystian Lupa European Theatre Award prizewinner
Polish director Krystian Lupa was voted as a winner of European Theatre Award for his career achievement.
The award is given by an international jury under the patronage of European Commission, European Union of Theatres and European Theatre Convention. There are many famous artists among prizewinners, for instance: Harold Pinter, Robert Wilson or Pina Bausch.
The European Theatre Award ceremony will take place in April 2009 in Wroclaw (first time ever in Poland) as a part of Jubilee Year of Jerzy Gortowski . There will be many attractions during this event, like: performances, conferences, symposiums or workshops.
