Polish robot on Mars???

Students from Technical University of Warsaw designed a prototype of Martian robot. They will take part in University Rover Challenge 2009 contest. Polish robot called “Scarab beetle” is very advanced and supported by Mars Society. It will be able to cover many miles and do many researches. Currently the robot is waiting for sponsors’ subsidy that helps finalize the project.
This contest is being organized by The Mars Society. The winners will be awarded a huge prize in money but what is more important the project could be used by NASA.
