Martian base in Toruń in ready

The model of a new Martian base in Toruń has already been designed. Polish experts and scientists are considering very small changes and alterations. If everything goes according to a plan, it will be first ever in Poland and third in the world, research center. The project is being led by the Mars Society Poland.
The center will be helpful for next scientific researches connected with Mars and space. It should also be very attractive for tourists and popularize the “Red Planet”. Students and pupils will have chance to learn a lot about our space and stay in a modern hotel. The leaders of this project hope that the European Union and local authorities will help them with financing their investment. It will start in 2009.
