Skra Bełchatów won the first quarter final game against Iskra Odyncovo
Polish volleyball team Skra Bełchatów won the first quarter final game of Volleyball Champions League, against Russian team - Iskra Odyncovo. The revenge will take place on the 12th of March in Russia. Despite Polish team was supported by 10 thousand crowds of fans it was really dramatic game. The Russian team is very strong and they proved it. However the Brazilian international Giba who is believed to be the best volleyball player in the world and other Russian players played very well, Skra was able to win this fantastic volleyball match.
Polish team won first set and was close to win the second one, but the Russian showed that they were very strong. The result was 23-23 but then Iskra won two points and defeated Polish team.
Fortunately Skra Bełchatów was able to win 3-2, but our team is not favourite before the second match. The winner will play in “final four” in Prague.
