Polish ultimatum for Belarus

If Aleksander Lukashenka does not stop disturbing convention of the Polish Association in Belarus he will not be invited for the summit of the European Union. During this summit European countries will discuss their new programme called “Eastern Partnership”. This is an ultimatum for Belarusian president.

“We know that our opinion is very important for the European Union. If Lukashenka does not stop putting stumbling blocks in  Andżelika Borys’ association way we will block his invitation” – says high-ranked official form the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for “Wprost”.

According to the magazine it is true that Poland may block Lukashenka’s arrival for the summit on the 7th May 2009.
