He jumped from the bridge because of love
Policemen tried to avoid this tragedy. But even one hour conversation did not dissuade him from jumping from the bridge. This dramatic situation occurred in Załęże near Rzeszów.
“It was 8.30 p.m. when police from Załęże received information about a young man who was trying to commit a suicide” – informs Bartosz Wilk from the press department of Rzeszów’s police. “Police officers arrived on a place as fast as it was possible. 21 years old Tomas was standing behind the barrier of the bridge. They called an ambulance.
Also firefighters and rescuers tried to help. They had a specialist dinghy. Everyone was waiting for a course of events. Police negotiators tried to speak with desperate lover.
Tomek decided to commit the suicide because of his heartbreak. Policemen wanted to contact his girlfriend but they were not able to do that. The man jumped to the river.
A rescue operation was taken immediately. Unfortunately both rescuers and firefighters were not able to find the body of the man.
