Jason Button has won the Malaysian Grand Prix after the race was stopped due to the torrential rain over Sepang track. Robert Kubica did not finish the race because of the engine failure.

Robet Kubica has told his racing engineer during the warm up lap that there is something wrong with the engine. When the race started he dropped to the last place and his pace was way off the other driver’s. After just two laps he was forced to pull out of the race as there were flames coming from the back section of his car. That is the second time this year that our ace did not manage to finish a race.

Apart from that this very exciting Grand Prix packed with overtaking and unexpected twists of action had to be stopped after 33 laps as the torrential rain made racing impossible. In those circumstances the final classification was following: 1. Jason Button (Brown GP), 2. Nick Heidfeld (BMW Sauber), 3. Timo Glock (Toyota).
