Germanwings will be back to Cracow in June

German cheap airlines Germanwings decided to move back with their flights to International Airport in Cracow- Balice after a year of cease.

Last April Germanwings decided to leave Cracow and to operate from an airport in Katowice-Pyrzowice.

Justyna ZajÄ…czkowska from IA Kraków-Balice has released a press statement that the German operator will inaugurate his flights from Cracow on 15th June with a connection to Cologne and one to Stuttgart a day later. In the summer season passengers will be able to fly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays to Cologne and Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays to Stuttgart. In total the operator will offer seven flights in summer as well as winter season.

Germanwings is one of the largest low-cost flights operators in Europe. They offer flights to more than 50 destinations in Europe. They own 25 Airbus A319 planes.

International Airport Cracow-Balice is the biggest regional airport in Poland with over 3 million passengers using it every year. It is used by 19 operators that supply 47 connections to 36 cities and 40 airports. At the moment it is possible to fly to 6 German cities from Cracow: Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Cologne, Stuttgart and Dortmund.
