To learn history of Wroclaw
"1000 years of Wroclaw" that is the title of an exhibition that have been available to visitors in renewed King's Palace in Wroclaw since Thursday. on 3 thousand square meter possession more than 3.5 thousand exhibits are shown. The Palace itself was renewed and modernized from 2001. The cost of this project is estimated for 40 million zlotys. However money did not matter as it is supposed to be a new flagship of the City.
The massive exhibition consists of over 3,5 thousand items that show history of Wroclaw from early medieval times until now. One of a greatest attractions are fully reconstructed chambers of local monarchs - explained Maciej Lagiewnicki, the director of City Museum in Wroclaw during an opening ceremony on Thursday. He added that it takes full 6 hours to complete the journey with the guide.
History exhibit is accompanied by a collection of art produced by local artists over last two centuries. Visitors will be able to use audio guides in Polish, English and German. Some rooms have projectors, there is also a library and a bookshop.
