Kubica will start form 13th position
Robert Kubica will start from 13th position to tomorrow’s Bahrain Grand Prix. His team partner Nick Heidfeld will start just next to him. He was 14th during qualifying session.
Yesterday BMW Sauber fans had their moment to cherish. During first training session Robert and Nick managed to get a second and third time. After a nightmare weekend in China BMW started to see a light in the tunnel. Unfortunately it was quickly shut off by the opposition during second training session. Kubica and Hiedfeld had managed to get 17th and 18th time.
In such circumstances qualifying session today was a huge question mark for BMW. It turned out to be a slight disappointment as both drivers wanted to fight for last qualifying session. However the difference between Robert Kubica and Nico Rosberg who was 10th was massive ( 0.3 seconds). It just shows that BMW is still off the pace of five leading teams.
Qualifications were dominated by Toyota drivers who managed to get positions one and two. Third was Sebatian Vettel, the winner of Grand Prix in China.
