Skra Bełchatów regains championship for the fifth consecutive time!
Skra Bełchatów has proved their dominance in Polish volleyball league yet again. They won a fifth consecutive title after a very one sided Finals when they won 3 games against Resovia Rzeszów not loosing even once.
That was no surprise as the team has a budget couple of times bigger than any other opposition in Poland and transfers players wisely. Some say that even if coach Daniel Casstelani was replaced by a monkey this team would win.
As Skra has no match in Poland, they will try to win European glory next season, as this one they lost a battle with Iskra Odonicowo, which has the best volleyball player in the world Giba in their squad. There is rumors that another terrific player from Brazil Dante will join Skra between seasons. Sponsors are pleased with promotion, so are local authorities, so money should be no issue for Polish Champions this year. Lets just hope that other teams will try to improve during the summer break, because otherwise we will see another season of Skra’s unquestionable dominance.
