Putin will visit Poland on 1st September

Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Donald Tusk. He has confirmed his arrival to Poland on 1st September - said Rafał Grupiński, a Minister in Prime Minister's Office.
According to Grupiński there is a chance that arrival of Putin will not be limited just to participation in anniversary celebrations (that was a case in January of 2005 when 60th anniversary of Auschwitz liberation). - It would be good if this visit had a bilateral character. It would be a perfect occasion to talk about political and economic relations between Poland and Russia - said Grupiński.
The last visit of Putin in Poland took place in January of 2002. Despite attempts of Polish side, Vladimir Putin has not visited Poland for 7 years.
