State owned enterprise “Porty Lotnicze”(PLL) has signed a deal with JEMS Company. JEMS obliged itself to design a new hotel at Okręcie Airport. The whole investment should be ready for Euro 2012. Airport plans to invest 120 million zloty to build and equip this hotel.

“That will be a second 5 star hotel build in the Okrecię area next to the existing Courtyard by Marriott. Today’s deal will include projects of the building, interior, restaurants and a swimming pool” – said Michał Marzec the head of Polish Airports during a press conference.

New building will be located in front of Terminal 2, where a car park is placed at the moment. Planed area of 16 thousand square meters shall house 220 rooms for over 400 guests. PLL plans that this hotel will become a part of Marriot chain. The new hotel will be smaller than the existing one that also belongs to Mariott.
