European Union helped Poland to get acces to iTunes, the biggest on-line music store in the world. Apple did not provide their service in Poland claiming that record powerhouses do not with to give their license for Poland, which is known for computer piracy. However Brussels made a decision that obligates all record companies to give just one license for the whole European Community. It means that we will be able to download music from iTunes very soon.

iTunes- the biggest on-line music store in the world is owned by Steve Jobs’ Company Apple. Unfortunately the firm decided t split the European market into national markets, which means that Englishmen could buy songs in English shop, Frenchmen in French shop ect. System recognized its client by origin of credit cared used for the transaction. However there was no Polish unit of iTunes.

Fortunately European Union backed Poland and record companies will have to make a European license instead of national ones. iTunes decided to use the opportunity and claimed that they would provide music to all Member States from now on. At the moment Apple owned store controls ¾ of gobal on-line music market.
