Well known Polish publishing house – Ossolinueum is in debt (3 million zloty), so it may declare bankruptcy very soon. There is one hope for this publishing house: concentration on editorial activity – informed “Nasz Dziennik”.

Ossolinueum is famous for triple activity: editorial, printing and distribution. The publishing house has already sold its printing house in order to have enough money for existence. What is more they have also sold several bookshops, for example in Poznan, Cracow and Lodz (last two will act under the aegis of Ossolinueum).

The daily informs that Ossolinueum is one of the oldest and biggest publishing houses in Poland, with 2 million titles.
