Dalajlama became a honorary citizen of Warsaw

Dalajlama a religious and political leader of Tibet became a honorary citizen of Warsaw due to unanimous decision of Warsaw’s councilmen.
Other well known honorary citizens of Warsaw include: Tadeusz Mazowiecki, the First Prime Minister after a fall of Communism, cavalry captain Witold Pilecki and Michał Sumiński – the author of popular TV show from the 80’s called “Zwierzyniec”.
