Beach with palms in the middle of Poznan
Several years ago we had only one famous palm tree, situated in the middle of Warsaw. Everyone was shocked about it. Since today Poznan seems to be more attractive for tourists, due to several palms, beach and three volleyball fields.
Today and tomorrow – Independence Square will be most important place in Poznan. There will be brought in tons of sand and several palms. Since Wednesday, Poznan’s project called “The beach of Independence 2009” will be opened for everyone.
According to the project, many attractions for citizens and tourist will be provided, for example: sport, culinary or music events. Organizers will also build three volleyball fields with stands (700 seats). The beach will be opened since 9 a.m. and closed at midnight with fantastic disco.
