Ladies Jazz Festival 2009
Ladies Jazz Festival 2009 starts on 9th July 2009 and will finish on 15th July. This event is going to be started with a strong hit as Harriet Tubman featuring Me’Shell N’degeocello project titled: "Om Supreme" dedicated to Alice Coltrane will have its premiere!
The 10th of July will be marked by a concert of Carmen Cuesta - a smooth jazz vocalist. It will be her first performance in Poland and she will promote her newly released album that had it's premiere this month.
Next day will see No Limits Group and Urszula Dudziak give their performances on stage.
However the best point of a program is saved for the last day: Dee Dee Bridgewater, a two times Grammy award winner, will give her only concert in Poland and Europe this year! Dee Dee Bridgewater born as Denise Eileen Garretton 25th May 1950 in Memphis, Tennesse is an american acctres, jazz vocalist and a host of azzSet with Dee Dee Bridgewater in National Public Radio. She was nominated to all most prestigious awards winnig a Grammy Award and Tony Award (1975).
