Polish women do not know much about sex
50 % of Polish women think that coitus interruptus is effective method that can prevent pregnancy. 10 % of female Poles have sex without any protection while they do not want to have children. Sometimes it happens that the woman give a birth without knowledge about her pregnancy.
Information actions which were carried out on TV did not help. “Polish women do not know anything about their bodies. Even mature women are sometimes surprised when I use terms like “ovary” or “womb” – says Mwłgorzata Bińkowska from the Medical Centre of Postgraduate Education in Warsaw.
What is more, Polish women do not know anything about contraception. According to the research made for Bayer company, 50 % of Polish women aged 18-49, think taht it is enough to observe their bodies in order to prevent pregnancy.
