Will there be an investigation connected with manslaughter of Polish citizen in Canada?
Canadian government appointed special commission which is responsible for investigating Robert Dziekański’s case. “Also Polish prosecutor’s office should resume the investigation of Robert who was killed in Canada at the airport. We have all needed documents” – said Piotr Banasik who represents Dziekański’s mother.
The lawyer took part in a deliberation of the Braidwood commission which investigates the case. “I do believe we can resume the investigation because I have collected all documents wanted by Polish side” – said Banasik.
According to Banasik all evidences published by the Braidwood commission are base for conducting Polish preparatory proceeding which should explain this tragic situation.
Robert Dziekański was killed at the airport in Vancouver on the 14th of October 2007. Polish citizen tried to meet his mother who lived in Kamloops. Dziekański had to wait many hours at the airport and when started screaming the officer used a taser (electroshock weapon) what killed the man.
