We will fell at least a bit safer on Polish roads. TIR lorries will be banned from roads on weekends. This prohibition will concern all lorries over 12 tons. This shall allow holidaymakers to travel quickly and safely to their holiday destinations.

Restrictions of lorry traffic came into power this week and will be valid until the last Sunday of August. According to Ministry of Transport directive TIR lorries will be banned from Polish roads on Fridays (from 6 pm to 10 pm), Saturdays from (8 am to 2 pm) and on Sundays (from 8 am until 10 pm). Those restrictions should prevent deadly accidents during holiday time, when traffic density is always higher.
