Rail carriage cinema will go across Poland
Special rail cinema placed in a rail car will travel through Poland form 1st July until 31st August with a Zakopane-Sopot train. It is an element of a "Orange. Summer Cinema" project that was presented last Monday in Warsaw.
Train cinema is just one of our actions- emphasized Paweł Adamski, a chairman of Outdoor Cinema, during a press conference organized at Warsaw's Central Station.
"We will give you a mobile cinema hall. It will travel from the seaside to Tatra mountains" - organizers said.
" There will be no fees for films projection. One will have to show a travel valid ticket and will be able to see the film. We plan to show four to six film during the journey" - added Adamski.
The rail cinema repertoire is quite impressive. It starts with Polish productions such as "To nie tak jak myślisz, kotku"(It is not what you think darling), "Ile waży koń trojański?" (What is the weight of a Troian Horse) and continues thru classics such as "Pulp Fiction", "My Greek wedding" to end with new productions such as "Slumdog millionaire".
The second phase of the "Orange. Summer cinema project are film projections in Zakopane and Sopot. They will also be free of charge.
In Sopot the screen will be placed in the pier, so that viewers could watch films sitting on the beach and in Zakopane the screen will be placed near to the main street called Krópówki. Audience will be seated at traditional mountain benches. Those two screens will have the same repertoire and projection times as one placed in a train.
