Musica Genera Festival 2009
The festival is one the most prestigious music projects in Europe dedicated to actual trends in music. 8th edition of Musica Genera Festival will take place in Warsaw this year.
The main arena of the festival will be the Dramatic Theatre in Warsaw (both scenes and open spaces). Also the Museum of Modern Art will be available for enthusiasts of the festival with incredible music systems and interesting lectures. Next days of the festival will take place in well known clubs: “Powiększenie” and “Cafe Kulturalna”.
There are many famous who will take part in the festival, for instance:
Markus Schmickler - German artist who is known as a one of the best electronic and abstractive music.
PAN SONIC – cult Finnish group which plays electronic music.
Lionel Marchetti – French compositor of concrete music who is believed to be the best artist of this type of music.
JAZKAMER – Norwegian group created by Lasse Marhauga and John Herge which is famous for creating electronic music mixed with hard rock.
Reinhold Friedl – German pianist and compositor who is a leader of ZEITKRATZER.
