Behemoth: „Glory for killers of Saint Wojciech”
Well known Polish metal group – Behemoth – will be sued by the prosecutor’s office because of their new song which contains worlds that may offend Polish religious feelings. “Glory for killers of Saint Wojciech” may be heard on “Pandemonic Incantations” album.
Controversial, however very popular group, has already been sued for damaging the Holy Bible during one of their concerts. This time this situation may occur again. The prosecutor’s office has been informed by chair of the Committee for Defending from Sects who accused Behemoth leader Adam “Nergal” Darski of public glorification of murder of Saint Wojciech and offending religious feelings of Polish Catholics. “I do believe that the artist offended many of Polish Catholics glorifying murder of Saint Wojciech who is also patron of our country” m- said Ryszard Nowak.
