Polish football star joined the champion of Russia
Polish international player – Rafał Murawski was sold from Lech Poznan to Rubin Kazan. Russian champion club did not release information about transfer fee – informed “pilkanozna.pl”.
Marek Pogorzelczyk, who is a manager of Lech Poznan, confirmed that Rafał Murawski would join Russian club – Rubin Kazan. “The transaction was very quick and easy. We transferred Murawski within several hours because Russian offer was very good and lucrative. I want to say that Rafał Murawski spent three years in Poznan and have always been an example to our younger players” – said the manager.
Rafał Murawski started his career in Gdansk and next moved to Amica Wronki. The club from Wronki and Lech Poznan was integrated into one club, so Murawski joined Lech. He was so good that Leo Beenhakker decide to call him to Polish national team. Murawski played well in this year UEFA CUP helping Lech to qualify to quarterfinal. Murawski was one of the most players of Lech and this transfer to Russian club is his reward.
