Two leading Polish brands of vodka are getting increasingly more popular abroad. Wyborowa is an unquestionable leader of consumption growth among all strong alcohols. Distillers in Poland are in worse condition than before - reports "Puls Biznesu", but quality alcohol from Poland gains market share due to its reputation. Two brands profit the most: Wyborowa and Sobieski - such conclusion can be drawn fro a ranking published by Drinks International.

Even though alcohol can be harmful for health, the fastest growing vodka brand - Wyborowa (that belongs to Pernod Ricard group) - has gained 30.3 per cent in sale. Sobieski vodka (Belvedere group) was not much worse with 10 per cent increase in sales.

However "Puls Biznesu" notices that although Polish brands have dynamic increase of sales, they are not even in top 30 of the biggest strong alcohol brands. Sobieski is ranked 31st with a sale at the level of 2.75 million of 9 liter cardboards and Wyborowa has 35th place with 2.32 million cardboards.
