Polonia Warsaw won its first game against Budnocnost Podgorica from Montenegro 2-0 after goals of Igor Kozioł and Tomasz Jodłowiec.

Polish club which finished last season on fourth place has to start from the first stage of qualification. The draw was not too favourable, because clubs from Montenegro are quite strong. Polonia could have had the club from Malta or San Marino, so Budnocnost seemed to have been quite strong opponent.

Fortunatelly Polonia proved that the club was strong and ready for European Cups. Polish club won 2-0 after two goals of defensive players: Igor Kozioł and Tomasz Jodłowiec. Polonia had many chances to score more goals, but both strikers: Filip Ivanovski and Marcelo Sarvas were not lucky. Polonia started the game with four defenders, four midfielders and two strikers. Przyrowski - Mynar, Jodłowiec, Skrzyński, Zasada - Sokołowski, Kozioł, Majewski, Lato - Sarvas, Ivanovski.

Second game will be played in Poland next Thursday.
