Polish tourist from Toruń was struck by lightning near Kopa Kondracka. She is seriously injured and her health condition is not good. Rescuers from TOPR appealed to tourist for deliberation.

The tourist, who is still unconscious, has burnt face. She was lucky that rescuers came fast and transported her to the hospital in Zakopane, what saved her life.

Rescuers from TOPR advised all tourists not stand in the open space during the storm. The best thing we can is to hide among rocks if possible. We should also switch off our mobile phones which attract lightning.
